The Linc KL
A vibrant new retail area in the heart of KL, the Linc KL’s complexity came from integrating the completely steel structure with maintaining the large tree located in the middle of the development. The Linc KL has re-imagined retail spaces in KL and has become an engaging building for both diners and shoppers. Completed in 4Q 2018, PKT undertook full QS Services.
KLCC Refurbishment & Outlet Relocation Works
PKT has performed several refurbishment and relocation works for KLCC over time, with the target always to increase the amount of footfall within the retail mall, and thus increasing the efficiency and profitability of the mall. The first stage of our work on KLCC involved the Relocation of ISETAN from the 5th floor to Concourse level, Kinokuniya to its current position on the 5th floor, and the increase of specialty retail frontage to improve vision. We are currently working on increasing the amount of retail space available in the mall by converting less efficient areas.
Publika @ Solaris Dutamas, Dutamas
With over 400 retail outlets, Publika has become one of the most popular retail malls in the Dutamas area, attracting specialty tenants such as the Limkokwing Fashion Club, Ben’s Independent Grocer, and Ploy. Publika has come to be known as one of the most Hipster retail malls in Kuala Lumpur, along with the many cafes and specialty stores that take up tenancy within. The proper planning of Publika from its inception stages has led to its success in current times.
KLCC Refurbishment Works
As part of Suria KLCC’s developments within the retail mall footfall generation, to improve the line of sight of the internal area, Suria KLCC shifted the lift core, and made the mall more aesthetically pleasing by installing large canopies over the external waiting areas.
