About Our History
For the past 29 years, Perunding Kos T & K Sdn Bhd (PKT) has provided Quantity Surveying consultancy services for an extensive variety of projects, both locally and internationally. Our current workforce consists of 60 people of varying backgrounds, but all of whom are trained to utilize Building Information Modelling (BIM) thoroughly from the start until the end of every project. We have and always will be committed towards the professional development of our team, as well as growing the firm’s technological expertise to always be at the forefront of the Construction Industry in Malaysia.

YBhg Dato Sr Peter Tan
Director
Dato Peter Tan is the founding director of PKT. He holds a Bachelor of Building (Quantity Surveying) from the University of Melbourne in Australia and has been recognised as a Fellow of The Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors for over 25 years. He is registered with the Board of Quantity Surveyors Malaysia (Lembaga Juruukur Bahan Malaysia) and a Member of The Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (RISM), Jemaah Dato-Dato Negeri Perak and FIABCI Malaysia. Dato Peter has also been appointed onto the Industry Advisory Panel for the Built Environment Faculty of University Malaya.
Sr Khor Peh Sin
Director
Graduating with a Masters of Project Management and Bachelor of Building (Hons) from University of New South Wales in Australia, Sr Khor Peh Sin is registered with the Board of Quantity Surveyors Malaysia (Lembaga Juruukur Bahan Malaysia), a Member of the Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (RISM), an Associate of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (AAIQS) and has been a key member of the PKT team for over 20 years.
Phillip Tan
BIM Director
Phillip learnt his trade as a Quantity Surveyor in the University of Melbourne, Australia, completing his Bachelor of Environments, majoring in Construction and his Masters of Construction Management, specializing in Cost Consultancy. He is a Member of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (MAIQS) and has been a crucial member of the integration of BIM systems in PKT.
And Now About Our Future
During this transitional period of technology, we have trained all our personnel, ranging from our Directors, all the way to our Interns, in the methods and procedures in the usage of Building Information Modelling (BIM). We believe that BIM is the future, and with its introduction, Quantity Surveying has become more complex in requiring the integration of not only traditional 2D drawings, but also of 3D Architectural and Structural models. PKT has not only been able to integrate BIM into our everyday processes, but we also work with our clients to encourage the usage of BIM in the Malaysian Construction Industry to further improve precision and efficiency of contractual and quantification processes.
Due to our expertise with BIM, PKT is capable of being flexible in accommodating any project circumstances. As one of the earliest adopters of BIM in Malaysia, PKT has worked with multiple QS BIM software developers to improve the accuracy of measurements and increase the speed in which we can respond to our clients.
